Bookkeeper – Country Estate

Profile Description

Our client is a long-established family run company in Sandy, who are looking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a real love of the outdoors to work in a varied accounting position, within a small, close knit team.

The role is offered on a full time basis, with working hours of 9am – 5.30pm Monday-Friday.

As the companies bookkeeper you will have a hands on approach to your work and be articulate in everything you do. You need to be confident and have the ability to work under pressure where necessary.

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:

  • Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
  • Maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledgers
  • Preparation of Payroll
  • Banks Payments
  • Posting and reconciling of invoices
  • Preparation of Management Accounts
  • Assisting with other duties and accounting processes

Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of Payroll
  • Competent on Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Confident using Sage
  • Experience in Bookkeeping
  • Problem solving skills

Please note there are two lovable friendly dogs in the office and due to the location you will to drive as there is no access via public transport.
