Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical & Electrical Engineer based in Milton Keynes. For this role you will need to undergo strict security clearance checks.
For this role you must be a British Citizen (or hold dual nationality) and have been a resident in the UK for 2 of the last 5 years with one being for 12 consecutive months.

Salary: £56,000 – £66,000 plus location allowance £1750

Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 37.5 hour working week, Monday – Friday
The role…
As the Senior Mechanical & Electrical Engineer your role will involve the following important duties:
- Lead on the design and management of a range of mechanical and electrical projects.
- Direct line manages the mechanical and electrical engineering team.
- Lead multidisciplinary team from inception through design, tendering, on-site supervision and completion.
- Responding to resource requests, client enquiries and other business development.
- Act as point of contact.
- Peer review.
- Prepare and manage cost budgets.
- Provide reports on project progress, budgets and programmes.
- Willingness to travel overseas, sometimes at short notice.
The experience required…
As a successful Senior Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, you will have the following:
- Professional Engineering qualification.
- Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council (CEng).
- Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience within the field.
- Experience leading design & construction teams through the project management process.
- Good financial management skills.
- AutoCAD, Excel and Project skills.
- Willing to travel overseas when necessary.
- Willing to undergo full security clearance and enhanced DBS check.
